welcome! International Service Opportunities

What we do:

KIDS Worldwide helps to organise placements for international volunteers to get involved in over thirty childrens projects located in developing countries around the world. These projects are managed by organisations registered in the country in which they work.

Our point of difference:
Kids Worldwide is different from the majority of other volunteer organisations in that we do not charge the projects any money for being on our website or for our services. This means that volunteers only pay for their food and accomodation to the project directors themselves, when they arrive - thus directly benefitting the project they are going to help. There is no middle man and the cost is thus very reasonable to volunteers.

Answers to many volunteers questions related to cost and the way we work can be found in the volunteer section of our website as well as the about us section.

Supporting Childrens Projects

We also support orphanages and childrens projects by helping with graphic / web design, and internet communications, especially with regard to volunteer placements. If you know of a project which may be interested in our work, or run such a project yourself, you are welcome to contact us. First read the affiliation section.

Correspondence

We were recently contacted by the organiser of Youth in Prison which is an exchange programme for Dutch volunteers only, who want to go to either Colombia or Brazil. Dutch volunteers go there and work for 2-3 weeks giving different courses and workshops (all different types of art) and exchange ideas and values with the local people. Youngsters will also go to Holland to give workshops together with Dutch volunteers who speak Portuguese and Spanish fluently. If interested, contact Tom Schurs.
