Why join a mailing list?

As a prospective volunteer you can:

• Write to other volunteers who have gone to the project that you are interested in, thus get tips on what works, what doesn't and the flavour of the project as perceived by those who have been before.

• Get the latest news from volunteers currently doing service

• Debate issues of current interest with others around the world.

• Share ideas for fundraising and exchange news on where to get cheap airline tickets.

Click on the mailing list that you are interested to join. You will betaken to an area where you can register your interest and a coordinator will subscribe you as soon as possible.

There is not yet a regional mailing list for volunteers interested in going to Asia, however several volunteers who have been are more than ready to write to prospective volunteers. Volunteers keep in touch using the General mailing list.

Contact the volunteer coordinator of the project you are interested in and ask for some names and email addresses of a person.
