Kids Worldwide offers children and young people fun and educational activities to keep them happy and active during every vacation in the school year. Kids Worldwide runs programs at two locations - from Ateneo Elementary and our main centre located in Indangan. We offer a place for children to learn some new skills and make new friends in supportive company.

Kids Worldwide is a values based organisation. We believe that every child comes into this world with a divine nature and we aim to encourage the blossoming of this through our programs. Our core values are Honesty, Responsibility, Respect and Caring. These values drive our program content, how we manage behaviour, and deal with our volunteers and staff.

We believe in providing opportunities where children can develop all aspects of their personalities: creative, social, emotional, intellectual, physical and intuitional.

Our Promise to Parents & Caregivers

Our aim is to provide children and young people with a challenging and enriching environment that will stimulate their development and opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive atmosphere and the chance to make new friends. We are also passionate about getting out and exploring our beautiful city and the natural environments we have all around us.

Provision has been made for working parents who may reqjuire assistance with transportation and extra child-minding. Car pooling options are available between parents and if there is sufficient interest, we can arrange a school van to collect the children from the corner of Milan in Buhangin for an additional transport cost.

Staff and Leadership

The director at our centre is a a qualified primary teacher in New Zealand and has run many successful, safe and high quality holiday programmes for children aged 5 years to 17 years in New Zealand and Australia.

This is our first time to offer a summer program in Davao, and we are excited to trial this initiative here. If there is sufficient interest, more programs may be offered in subsequent weeks during the 2011 summer vacation.

All of the staff involved are enthusiastic and passionate about working with children. At the heart of our training process are our core values - from which all our decisions, behaviour management systems and code of ethics are based: Honesty, Responsibility, Respect and Caring.

We encourage children to interact and practise thier English with our international volunteers and staff. Kids Worldwide is an international non profit organisation which hosts volunteers from around the world and supports childrens programs in 16 countries.
